2025 SABMag’s Award Winner

The Lakeridge Logistics Centre is the largest Zero Carbon Building-Design™ certified building in Canada, at 1.2 million square feet. The industrial building demonstrates how modern logistics facilities can integrate energy-efficient design, advanced building systems, and long-term sustainability goals without compromising performance. As a high-performance industrial building, the centre sets a new standard for environmentally responsible development in the Canadian industrial real estate sector.
As the Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustainability Consultants, INVIRO contributed to the project’s integrated sustainability strategy – supporting efficient mechanical systems, optimized electrical design, and the green building features that helped secure this national recognition. The collaboration between Pure Industrial and the project’s architects, engineers, builders, and sustainability professionals was essential in bringing this award-winning vision to life.
