Project overview

Yorkville Village is a revitalized mixed-use shopping destination in Toronto’s Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood, transformed through a major renovation that reused 91% of the existing building structure to significantly reduce construction impacts. The refreshed complex now offers an elevated retail and lifestyle experience supported by modern mechanical systems that help achieve up to 32% energy consumption savings across the development. Water-efficient fixtures were incorporated throughout the centre, contributing to 38% indoor potable water reductions while maintaining comfort for occupants and visitors. During construction, the project also prioritized responsible waste management, successfully diverting 86% of materials from landfill. With updated building systems, improved environmental performance, and enhanced pedestrian connectivity, Yorkville Village stands as a contemporary, sustainable hub within one of Toronto’s most prominent urban districts.
