Project Overview

York Major Medical Centre is a four-story medical office facility offering over 57,000 ft² of flexible clinical and administrative space in the heart of Vaughan. Designed with performance and occupant well-being in mind, the project incorporates a high-efficiency building envelope and advanced HVAC systems that contribute to 17.9% annual energy savings. The building’s thoughtful approach to sustainability also extends to its water systems, where low-flow fixtures and smart irrigation deliver over 30% indoor water savings and 63% outdoor water savings. Throughout construction, the team prioritized responsible practices, successfully diverting 75% of waste from landfill. With its modern architectural expression, abundant natural light, and resilient systems, York Major Medical Centre stands as a high-performing, LEED® Gold–certified facility that supports both healthcare operations and long-term environmental stewardship.
