Project Overview
Schneider Electric’s new manufacturing facility in Milton, Ontario was engineered to support advanced manufacturing and long-term operational flexibility, with sustainability embedded throughout the design. This fit-up project delivered comprehensive electrical service upgrades and microgrid-ready infrastructure designed to accommodate future solar generation and battery storage, along with Level 1 and Level 2 EV charging capabilities. Nearly all-electric HVAC systems featuring modern heat pump technology further support energy efficiency and decarbonization goals. The facility’s warehouse layout and industrial features were designed to support efficient, flexible manufacturing operations. Together, these design solutions reflect Schneider Electric’s commitment to decarbonization while enabling efficient manufacturing operations.
