Featuring production space, research labs, training facilities, and an immersive Customer Experience Centre, the building showcases GE’s leadership in intelligent energy systems. Our team provided full mechanical, electrical, and LEED® consulting services in support of its LEED® Gold certification.

Brief Description

The GE Grid IQ Global Innovation Center exemplifies a modern, high-tech facility dedicated to the future of energy infrastructure. This 290,000 ft² building combines production space, on-site research, testing and simulation laboratories, and a technical training centre, enabling development and manufacturing of advanced grid-automation and smart-grid solutions for global deployment.

A signature feature of the facility is the Grid IQ Customer Experience Centre, an interactive environment that showcases GE’s full suite of energy management tools. Its immersive 60-foot video wall allows visitors to explore real time grid scenarios, visualization tools, and system performance in a highly engaging format that demonstrates the power of intelligent energy systems.

Our team provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering for the facility and served as LEED® consultants to guide the project toward LEED® Gold certification.
